Christmas Elf Cress Eggs

Cold, dark days mean more time spent at home - so why not get the craft box out!!

We wanted to do something a little bit Elf related, so instead of making our usual Cress Egg Funny Faces, we did Christmas Elf Cress Eggs. It's easy, why not have a go...

Save your egg shells (crack the eggs carefully so you get a large surface of egg to decorate & a little plant pot type shape to grow your cress. Dampen some cotton wool & sprinkle generously with cress seeds.

Water a little bit each day. The seeds will quickly sprout & each day the "hair" grows longer.

My 3 year old daughter really enjoyed doing this bunch of funny Elf characters...
