The story is identical - both are our brand-new 10th Edition. The personalised set weaves your child’s name through every letter; the standard set is the same adventure, ready to go straight away, so it’s usually dispatched within 1 working day. If you’d like the letters addressed to your child by name and have a little more time, choose our 24 daily personalised elf letters. 

How quickly will my letters arrive?

Because there’s no personalisation step, standard letter sets are usually dispatched within 1 working day of your order. Perfect if your elf is arriving any day now or December has crept up on you. Pre orders will ship in October.

We’ve bought before - is this year’s story new?

Completely. The 10th Edition is a brand-new adventure for 2026. Returning readers will recognise favourite characters and traditions, but the story itself has never been told before. You can begin with any edition, and even skip a year, just don't go backwards.

What age are the letters best for?

Roughly 3–10. Younger children love having the letters read aloud; confident readers love reading them independently - and the daily question at the end works for both. Adults love these letters and we hear older teens also can't resist keeping up with Pip and the gang. Are you ever too old for Christmas magic?

Do the letters work with our Christmas elf?

The letters work with or without an elf. They’re designed to be flexible. Many families have the day’s letter 'delivered' by their elf overnight. Some families have an elf penpal, they're much easier! If your elf needs supplies of their own, our Elf Accessories Reward Kit has them covered.
